Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn has been an actress for over 20 years. Her most well-known role is her part as Skyler White in the AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. In addition to playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward She has also appeared on The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and was awed by acting during her time at Preparatory School. In the late 1970s, the family moved to Ohio. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and studied theatre in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna was employed by the theater in the Chicago area for several years, before attempting her hand at TV as well as film roles. Anna's first big character was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She played in 29 episodes. After appearing as a Guest Actor in a variety of TV Shows and films, such as Seinfeld and NYPD Blue during the 90's and was later chosen to play Jean Ward as part of The Practice. In 2000, she was cast in Deadwood in the role of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler played her part on Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood was also an integral the highlights of her work. Gunn took the stage to star in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. She was also a part of the audio drama podcast series of four parts Numbered days, which was launched in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The drama's tension and final demise mirror the last few decades in the story of Walter White.
